This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.
• Create and execute data architectures that meet business requirements while maximizing the functionalities of Snowflake for data warehousing, data lakes, and data engineering.
• Design and deploy data solutions tailored to specific business demands, including BI, ETL, and AI/ML.
• Support the transition of data from legacy systems to the Snowflake platform.
• Ensure data is accessible, secure, and compliant with applicable regulations and industry standards.
• Develop and implement data pipelines for the ingestion, transformation, and loading of data into Snowflake from various sources.
• Create and execute data models within Snowflake, taking into account data relationships, types, and storage needs.
• Monitor and enhance query performance, data ingestion, and transformation processes within the Snowflake environment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including business users, data engineers, data scientists, and other IT teams, to comprehend requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Assess and select suitable tools and technologies for data integration, transformation, and analytics within the Snowflake ecosystem.
• Provide technical leadership and direction to data engineering and analytics teams.
• Over 5 years of experience in data engineering and data modeling for cloud data platforms across multiple workstreams.
• Profound understanding of Snowflake's Architecture & Capabilities.
• Familiarity with dbt.
• Experience using Sigma.
• A strong enthusiasm for Data Modernization Methods and Practices.
• A broad spectrum of experience with large-scale database and data warehousing technologies, such as Snowflake or Databricks, along with ETL processes, analytics, cloud technologies, Data Engineering, and Data Science.
• Excellent verbal and presentation skills, capable of effectively conveying ideas to clients and prospective clients at every organizational level.
• Knowledge and ability to articulate the connection between Data and Customer Relationship Management, also known as Customer360.
• Proven ability to guide clients towards alternative solutions when initial options are unsuitable, supported by examples. Demonstrated experience in leading strategy and digital roadmaps.
• Experience managing projects within a complex business environment.
• Familiarity with Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, Cloud Technology, Business Intelligence, and CRM products.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Javascript, Python, and SQL, or Salesforce App Development using LWCs, Apex, Flow, etc.
• In-depth knowledge of Architecture Patterns and API management, including real-time streaming.
• Experience with Dimensional Data Modeling methods like Bronze, Silver, Gold, Kimball, or similar approaches.
• Must possess full-time permanent US work authorization.
• A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in Implementation or Sales within Salesforce Data Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce CRM technologies like Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or any Industry Clouds.
• Practical experience with AI/ML solutions such as Einstein, Sagemaker, and Vertex, along with a solid understanding of Generative AI.
• Hands-on experience designing data solutions on cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Proficient in analytics tools like Tableau, PowerBI, Looker, etc.
• Experience will be assessed based on alignment with the core competencies required for the role (e.g., extracurricular leadership roles, military service, volunteer work, etc.).
