This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

• Aids in ensuring the reliability, quality, governance, and operational efficiency of the enterprise Snowflake data platform.

• Assists in the development and upkeep of DataOps processes, including automated testing, monitoring, deployment pipelines, and governance controls.

• Supports the establishment of data contracts, schema standards, and release protocols for batch and streaming data products.

• Engages in the validation of schema modifications and aids in conducting impact assessments.

• Keeps documentation related to data products, SLAs, and operational procedures current.

• Contributes to Git-based deployment pipelines for Snowflake and dbt resources.

• Implements and oversees automated testing for data transformations and quality checks.

• Facilitates the promotion of code and configuration across development, testing, and production environments.

• Monitors scheduled data pipelines and examines operational issues.

• Assists in the development and maintenance of orchestration workflows utilizing approved tools.

• Supports the execution of operational runbooks and recovery procedures.

• Designs and maintains data quality tests and monitoring dashboards.

• Investigates discrepancies and engages in issue resolution efforts.

• Participates in on-call support and incident response initiatives.

• Tracks warehouse utilization and query performance metrics.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.

• 2–4 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or platform operations.

• Proficient in Snowflake, SQL, and data transformation frameworks.

• Familiarity with Git-based development methodologies.

• Understanding of data quality principles and cloud data platforms.

• Experience with dbt and Terraform is preferred.

• Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Airflow or Dagster is preferred.

• Background in supporting production data environments is preferred.

• Knowledge of governance and data catalog technologies is preferred.
