Data Migration System Lead – Pharma

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Serve as a technical leader for Data Migration and Data Management initiatives within global programs.

• Define end-to-end migration strategies, architectures, frameworks, and technical standards.

• Own the overall solution design for data migration processes that support ERP implementations, acquisitions, divestitures, and system transformations.

• Lead data discovery activities, data assessment, data object definition, and source-to-target mapping.

• Make decisions regarding data architecture to ensure consistency across systems and platforms.

• Ensure alignment between business processes, enterprise architecture standards, and migration solutions.

• Review and approve technical designs, transformation rules, validation procedures, and reconciliation approaches.

• Define migration waves, cutover strategies, rollback procedures, and launch readiness criteria.

• Establish best practices, methodologies, templates, and governance models for migration projects.

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to project teams, migration specialists, developers, and analysts.

• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Application Owners, Integration Teams, Data Governance, and Security organizations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience leading data migration initiatives.

• Strong background in Data Migration and Data Governance programs.

• Knowledge of SAP architecture and SAP data models.

• Experience with cloud-based Data Migration solutions (preferably AWS).

• Good understanding of system integrations, network connectivity, and enterprise platforms.

• Familiarity with SQL databases and data analysis tools.

• Experience with testing frameworks and validation methodologies.

• Understanding of GxP-regulated environments.

• English: Professional/Fluent (C1).
