Data Migration, Data Quality Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Assist with the comprehensive data migration process between legacy systems and target platforms.

• Extract, map, transform, and load (ETL) data in accordance with established business and technical requirements.

• Document processes for data mapping, transformation rules, and migration logic.

• Validate the migrated data to guarantee completeness, accuracy, and consistency.

• Analyze and detect data inconsistencies, duplicates, and errors in existing systems.

• Conduct data cleanup operations to standardize and enhance datasets.

• Implement data quality assessments, validation rules, and monitoring procedures.

• Collaborate with business teams to establish data standards and governance protocols.

• Investigate and resolve data discrepancies across different systems.

• Perform root cause analysis and suggest corrective measures.

• Assist with ongoing data reconciliation and balancing tasks.

• Generate reports and dashboards to showcase data quality metrics.

• Work closely with IT, business analysts, and functional teams to gather data requirements.

• Convert business needs into technical data specifications.

• Maintain clear documentation regarding data processes, definitions, and standards.

• Engage in testing phases (UAT, system testing) related to data migration.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–6+ years of experience in roles related to data analysis, data migration, or data quality.

• Strong expertise in SQL and data querying techniques.

• Experience with data transformation and ETL methods.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, lookups, and data manipulation).

• Exceptional attention to detail and effective problem-solving abilities.

• Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems (such as Dynamics 365, Business Central, Salesforce, SAP).

• Knowledge of data management tools (Power BI, SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Dataverse, etc.).

• Understanding of data governance and data quality frameworks.

• Experience in system implementation or migration initiatives.
