This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage and refresh master data records to ensure they are accurate, complete, and consistent.
• Assess, cleanse, and standardize data from various sources—including distributor feeds, manufacturer files, and internal systems—to ensure uniform formatting and structure.
• Identify and rectify data discrepancies or pattern inconsistencies to prevent errors from being entered into the company’s master database.
• Standardize incoming data for end-user reporting and business analysis purposes.
• Map distributor product data to manufacturer products using product history, manufacturer knowledge, and external resources (e.g., catalogs, websites).
• Maintain an average of 1250 products mapped weekly (within a range of 1000-1500).
• Verify and update product attributes—including brand, category, and manufacturer information—based on available and validated data sources.
• Conduct regular data audits and contribute to ongoing improvement efforts for data accuracy, automation, and process efficiency.
• Support the development and implementation of data governance standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data quality, streamline workflows, and document data management procedures.
• Engage in database cleaning and normalization projects as assigned.
• Assist in testing and providing feedback on new data management tools and automation technologies.
• Support the training of new team members, including mapping and cleansing data.
• Maintain annual objectives and/or projects.
• Uphold business objectives.
• A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 1-3 years of professional experience in data management, analytics, or operations.
• Experience in the food industry is preferred.
• Comfortable with adapting to evolving technology.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to quickly adjust priorities as necessary.
• Capable of multitasking and meeting deadlines.
