This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.
• Supervise the upkeep of data infrastructure and architecture for Oil, Gas, and Remediation projects.
• Lead initiatives for data generation, storage, and processing while ensuring the effective implementation of data management solutions and best practices.
• Manage databases and data processing systems.
• Guarantee that data is accessible, reliable, secure, and processed efficiently.
• Integrate, optimize, and handle multiple large-scale data sources.
• Develop automated reporting systems and data solutions.
• Provide software solutions that facilitate data transfer from its source to internal databases, including data warehouses.
• Oversee the maintenance of data pipelines to support data analysis and reporting.
• Evaluate complex issues and propose solutions that enhance data storage processes and methodologies.
• Utilize judgment beyond established parameters and precedents to make decisions and address business and technical challenges.
• Hold accountability for the outcomes of assigned projects and processes.
• Exhibit strong proficiency in data programming languages.
• Possess extensive knowledge of data optimization tools, data structures, data architecture, and data warehousing solutions.
• Have a robust understanding of API integration to facilitate data access, collection, distribution, transformation, and ELT processes.
• Employ algorithmic and statistical methods, data processing tools, and AI-driven approaches to support efficient data consumption and analysis.
• BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Science, Data Engineering, or a related field with 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• Proven experience with environmental software implementation in a consulting or O&G setting.
• Familiarity with one or more EDM software packages such as Earthsoft EQuIS Suite (Professional, Enterprise, EnviroInsite, etc.) and Locus EIM is highly preferred.
• Background in environmental data management, chemistry, analytical data validation, environmental data analysis, and/or visualization.
• Experience in data engineering, business intelligence (BI), or analytics development.
• Strong proficiency in SQL along with experience in relational and analytical databases.
• Proficient in Python or a comparable scripting language.
• Experience in developing interactive dashboards and data visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar business intelligence tools.
• Experience in designing and supporting data pipelines, data integration, and ETL/ELT processes.
• Familiarity with cloud-based or enterprise data warehousing solutions.
• Knowledge of enterprise business systems such as Oracle, Workday, CMiC, or similar platforms.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Suite, including the Power Platform, with expertise in data analysis, automation, and reporting.
• Understanding of data quality, governance, and metadata management.
