This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

• Assist in the upkeep and enhancement of our data warehousing systems (AWS DMS, Redshift).

• Aid the team in overseeing data pipelines, recognizing issues, and resolving basic problems.

• Develop and optimize SQL queries for analytical purposes and data validation.

• Collaborate with engineers and analysts to comprehend data requirements and facilitate use cases.

• Engage in testing, documentation, and enhancing the reliability of data systems.

• Identify and automate repetitive daily tasks, minimizing operational overhead and boosting team efficiency.

• Explore and learn about new tools and technologies within the data ecosystem.

• Currently enrolled in (or recently graduated from) a degree program in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a similar technical discipline.

• Basic knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, Postgres, and relational concepts) as well as NoSQL databases.

• Familiarity with at least one programming language (such as Python, Go, or similar).

• Interest in data infrastructure, distributed systems, or backend engineering.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and a willingness to learn.

• Capability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.

• Experience utilizing AI tools like Claude to enhance development workflows, troubleshoot intricate technical challenges, and improve productivity.
