Data Governance Specialist, Collibra – Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance comprehensive Data Governance frameworks across the enterprise.

• Create long-term governance strategies, maturity models, and approaches for platform scalability.

• Serve as the Product Owner for Collibra, managing roadmap development, feature improvements, and cross-domain empowerment.

• Drive enterprise-wide Data Quality initiatives and oversee the resolution of Data Quality challenges across functions.

• Facilitate governance working groups, steering committees, and forums for stakeholders.

• Lead and mentor a team consisting of Data Stewards, Governance Analysts, and Collibra Developers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 9 years of overall experience with a strong background in Data Governance, Metadata, Privacy, and Data Quality.

• Possession of multiple Collibra certifications (e.g., Collibra Ranger, Collibra Data Steward).

• Proven experience in steering governance programs, councils, and initiatives for multi-domain enablement.

• In-depth knowledge of enterprise governance standards, compliance mandates, and data policies.

• Experience in team management, driving transformative efforts, and influencing senior management.

• Capability to design governance strategies, frameworks, and cross-functional governance models.
