Data Governance Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Assist in the execution of the Data Governance strategy

• Collaborate with Business Operations, Cybersecurity, and IT to identify, suggest, and/or implement processes and technologies

• Align tactical initiatives with the data governance strategy across various projects and programs

• Execute the data governance strategy, controls, and capabilities, including data catalog, metadata management, data quality certification, and data quality metrics

• Improve the data literacy program to educate executives and functional teams on the significance of data

• Lead the establishment and documentation of Data Governance processes

• Oversee stakeholder communication and progress reporting at multiple levels within the organization

⛳️ Requirements

• 8 years of experience in data governance, data quality, analytics, or data management roles

• Expert knowledge of data concepts such as data definitions, metadata, lineage, and quality

• Capability to work across functions and convert governance concepts into actionable guidance and business value

• Excellent communication and facilitation skills

• Extensive experience utilizing data catalogs or metadata management tools

• Significant experience in implementing a data quality program
