Data Governance Analyst – Mid

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with the client's Data Teams to enhance Data Governance initiatives;

• Aid in the formulation of practices for data quality, governance, cataloging, and data organization;

• Assist in managing both technical and business metadata;

• Engage in defining, reviewing, and standardizing governance processes, documentation, and best practices;

• Contribute to projects focusing on data quality, master data, and data lineage;

• Support activities related to conceptual, logical, physical, and dimensional data modeling;

• Help catalog, document, and qualify data assets;

• Facilitate technical and functional discussions with both business and technology stakeholders;

• Advocate for improved traceability, reliability, and value of corporate data.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a relevant field;

• Alternatively, a postgraduate degree in IT with a minimum recognized workload of 360 hours;

• A minimum of 4 years of proven experience in Information Technology;

• Strong understanding of Data Governance and the principles of DAMA-DMBOK;

• Experience with:

• Informatica AXON;

• Informatica EDC;

• Informatica IDQ (or EDQ);

• Microsoft Purview;

• Microsoft Fabric;

• SAP PowerDesigner;

• Databricks;

• Proficiency in data modeling:

• Conceptual, logical, and physical modeling;

• Dimensional modeling;

• Star Schema;

• Snowflake Schema;

• Experience in managing technical and business metadata;

• Familiarity with data quality, cataloging, and data lineage;

• Background in requirements gathering and analysis;

• Experience working within an agile environment.
