Data Entry Clerk

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Accurately capture and enter data into company systems, spreadsheets, and databases.

• Review and validate data to ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency.

• Identify and rectify data discrepancies or errors promptly.

• Maintain organized digital records and filing systems.

• Generate basic reports and summaries from the captured data as needed.

• Collaborate with team members to clarify data requirements or resolve queries.

• Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a data entry or administrative support position.

• Fast and precise typing skills, with a preference for at least 45 WPM.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining data accuracy.

• Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines in a remote setting.

• Familiarity with CRM or database management systems is a plus.

• Good written communication skills for internal correspondence.

• A Matric certificate is required; a relevant diploma or certificate is advantageous.
