This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

• Provide coaching and mentorship to a group of learners through individualized sessions and workshops.

• Deliver practical data engineering lessons in a manner that is comprehensible, relevant, and anchored in real-world applications.

• Assist learners in designing and constructing dependable, scalable, and secure data solutions—not merely functional code.

• Support learners in navigating assessments and portfolios while maintaining high standards and offering constructive feedback.

• Exemplify sound professional judgment regarding performance, cost, security, privacy, and ethical considerations.

• Practical experience as a Data Engineer or in a closely related position (Senior / Lead / BI / Data-focused DevOps).

• Proficient knowledge of SQL, including complex queries and optimization techniques.

• Proficiency in Python for data pipeline development and automation.

• Expertise in data modeling and normalization.

• Experience with batch data pipeline architecture.

• Familiarity with cloud data platforms (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP also accepted).

• Understanding of data security, privacy, and ethical data practices.

• Previous experience in coaching, mentoring, or supporting others.

• Capacity to articulate complex concepts clearly and thoughtfully.

• Possession of Azure data engineering certifications (or a commitment to obtain them).

• Experience with tools such as Airflow, dbt, Spark, Databricks, and CI/CD.

• Experience in facilitating workshops or delivering structured learning sessions.
