Data Engineering Analyst, Mid-level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create and execute robust, scalable data pipelines tailored to the needs of various business and analytics teams.

• Consolidate and process extensive amounts of data from a variety of sources, both structured and unstructured.

• Play a key role in defining and standardizing best practices in data engineering while ensuring data quality and integrity.

• Build automation solutions for routines related to data ingestion, transformation, and provisioning.

• Provide technical solutions that empower business areas to democratize data through self-service BI, catalogs, and data models.

• Engage actively in agile ceremonies and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in data, product, and technology domains.

• Document processes, data flows, and technical standards to facilitate reuse and scalability.

• Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Extensive experience with Python and SQL, focusing on data manipulation and transformation.

• Practical experience with data engineering tools and platforms such as Databricks, Data Lake, Airflow, Spark, or similar technologies.

• Proficiency in relational and dimensional data modeling.

• Experience with Azure Cloud or other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).

• Ability to comprehend business challenges and suggest suitable technical solutions.

• Familiarity with agile methodologies and data-centric DevOps practices.
