Data Engineer – Streaming, Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the evolution of digital (parcel) logistics by designing sophisticated analytics systems for both proprietary and third-party platforms.

• Create analytics applications utilizing data sourced from systems within a parcel sorting facility.

• Partner with Product Management and Research & Development teams.

• Collaborate within multidisciplinary development teams, encompassing machine control and system architecture.

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed university degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Proficient in Java programming and Groovy.

• Familiarity with Kafka Streaming and the development of stream processors.

• Experience in building dashboards using Grafana.

• Knowledge of tools such as NiFi and Node-RED.

• Proficiency with Kubernetes.

• Desirable: Understanding of Angular, TypeScript, AI, MCP, and LLM.
