Data Engineer, Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python.

• Create and optimize ETL pipelines for extensive data processing.

• Handle both structured and unstructured data, ensuring quality and consistency.

• Develop processes for data ingestion, transformation, and integration.

• Deploy and manage applications within cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Utilize Docker for application containerization and contribute to scalable architecture.

• Analyze datasets to derive insights and assist in technical decision-making.

• Ensure high standards for code quality, performance, and maintainability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience as a Backend Engineer specializing in Python.

• Advanced proficiency in data analysis and transformation using Python libraries like Pandas and NumPy, applied to large-scale and production-quality datasets.

• Strong background in building ETL/data processing pipelines.

• Solid experience with Python and associated frameworks/tools.

• Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases.

• Practical experience with cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Extensive experience with Docker and containerized environments.

• Ability to analyze and interpret data, recognizing structure, anomalies, and patterns.

• Experience in managing large-scale datasets.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

• Proficient in English at a B2+ level.
