Data Engineer – Mid/Senior

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, maintain, and enhance data flows (ETL and ELT) in highly intricate scenarios.

• Transform data effectively.

• Develop, test, validate, deploy, troubleshoot, deliver, and automate testing for complex routines and processes.

• Utilize Hadoop, Spark, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) to construct and operate data pipelines.

• Engage in team and client meetings as well as Agile project ceremonies.

• Collaborate with complex business stakeholders to validate deliverables, implement necessary adjustments, and provide support/mentorship to mid-level Data Engineers.

• Identify opportunities for process enhancements and design and implement proposed solutions, including automation of manual processes, optimization of data delivery, and architectural improvements to boost performance.

• Continuously design and refine data pipeline architectures.

• Merge diverse large and intricate datasets to fulfill functional and non-functional business requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong expertise in Databricks.

• Solid experience with SQL and Python.

• Familiarity with cloud data stacks (Azure, AWS, GCP) and DataOps methodologies.

• Proven experience in building data pipelines using big data tools.

• Customer-oriented mindset with the capability to articulate ideas clearly and succinctly, alongside strong problem-solving abilities.
