Data Engineer – Mid-Level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, and uphold dependable and scalable data pipelines, primarily utilizing SQL.

• Develop and enhance intricate queries to meet analytics and reporting requirements.

• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality across various data sources.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to convert business inquiries into data-driven solutions.

• Support experimental frameworks, including A/B testing and data validation processes.

• Work alongside analytics teams to provide datasets for dashboards and reporting tools (e.g., Metabase or similar platforms).

• Effectively communicate insights through data storytelling, customizing messages for non-technical audiences.

• Partner with cross-functional teams in a client-facing consulting setting.

• Contribute to best practices in data modeling, documentation, and governance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong experience as a Data Engineer, Analytics Engineer, or in a similar position.

• Advanced SQL skills.

• Experience in building and maintaining data pipelines and transformations.

• Knowledge of data modeling principles.

• Experience collaborating with stakeholders to establish data requirements.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting data to non-technical audiences.

• Upper-intermediate proficiency in English.
