Data Engineer – Mid

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the evolution of the corporate data platform.

• Engage in the design, development, and maintenance of modern solutions on AWS.

• Build reliable data pipelines.

• Migrate legacy processes.

• Support a Lakehouse architecture.

• Ensure the quality, efficiency, and availability of data.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in Data Engineering.

• Experience in developing ETL / ELT pipelines in production environments.

• Practical knowledge of AWS data-oriented services: Glue, S3, Athena, Redshift, or similar.

• Proficiency in Python for data processing.

• Knowledge of PySpark or Spark.

• Experience in advanced SQL.

• Understanding of data modeling (Data Warehouse / Lakehouse).

• Integration with multiple data sources: Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, or others.

• Experience in monitoring and supporting batch processes or production pipelines.

• Experience in migrating legacy processes (desirable).

• Knowledge in Data Quality, metadata, or data catalog (desirable).

• Experience with Step Functions, IAM, or Lake Formation (desirable).

• Experience in the financial sector or regulated industries (desirable).

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (desirable).
