Data Engineer – Managed Data Service

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Collaborate as a member of the Managed Data Service team, assisting our clients with their data operations and projects.

• Participate in the design, construction, maintenance, and troubleshooting of data pipelines, models, and transformations.

• Contribute to the development, upkeep, and resolution of issues in data observability solutions to enhance data quality.

• Transform data into actionable business insights by preparing customized solutions tailored to each client.


⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.

• Proficiency in one or more programming languages, with a strong emphasis on Python and Java.

• Fundamental knowledge of GO.

• Solid understanding of DBT.

• Expertise in SQL.

• Familiarity with Looker and/or Power BI.

• Some experience with programming in an Agile environment.

• Knowledge of database technologies and data analysis, including relational and NoSQL databases, data warehouse design, and ETL/ELT pipelines.

• Relevant experience with data products and services from Azure, AWS, or GCP.

• Proficiency in English.

• Preferred: Experience with job orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Dagster).

• Experience with data ingestion tools (e.g., Fivetran, Airbyte).

• Familiarity with Hadoop and platforms such as Apache Spark, Pig, or Hive.

• Some experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or similar products.
