This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, automate, and enhance infrastructure and deployment solutions for software development, testing, and release processes.
• Implement automation tools and frameworks that facilitate CI/CD.
• Create innovative solutions to intricate technical challenges.
• Ensure the system's security, reliability, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with software developers, engineers, stakeholders, business owners, and external clients.
• Build, maintain, optimize, and improve data architecture, warehouses, pipelines, platforms, and distributed data systems.
• Collect, normalize, compile, clean, structure, process, analyze, and visualize complex datasets.
• Develop, assess, and test scalable data solutions.
• Establish practices for data protection, quality, delivery, governance, metadata, and security.
• Investigate data quality issues, conduct root-cause analysis, resolve errors, and design process enhancements.
• Integrate tools, algorithms, and techniques into current data systems.
• Determine software and hardware architecture requirements and guide decisions regarding performance and scalability.
• Generate operational and specialized reports, presenting complex findings to stakeholders.
• Provide technical support for program strategies and initiatives.
• Meet contractual deliverables and fulfill assigned contract obligations.
• Track planned hours, engage in growth initiatives, complete personal PDP, attend company meetings, and perform other assigned responsibilities.
• Active Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree with 8–10 years of experience.
• Advanced proficiency in designing, building, and maintaining data warehouses, pipelines, and large-scale distributed data systems.
• Strong expertise with modern database technologies, ETL/ELT frameworks, and big data tools.
• Capability to solve intricate technical problems and develop innovative, scalable data solutions.
• Experience with data governance, quality management, metadata management, and security best practices.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, or Scala.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to evaluate data from various systems and identify optimization opportunities.
• Capability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience with cloud data platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with containerization and modern DevOps practices.
