This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Create and sustain Python-based scripts, utilities, and automation solutions for data integration, transformation, validation, and reporting.
• Design, develop, and uphold logical and physical data models to ensure scalable data integration and reporting.
• Examine source system data structures and convert business requirements into data models and database schemas.
• Construct, enhance, and resolve issues related to complex SQL queries and data transformation processes.
• Set up and maintain ETL processes for both structured and unstructured data sources.
• Assist in the development of data warehouses and enhancements to data architecture and performance.
• Guarantee data integrity, quality, and governance across client implementations and internal systems.
• Collaborate with Operations, Workflow, Technical Support, and Account Management teams for client implementations and continuous data quality improvement.
• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, MIS, Computer Science, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Over 3 years of experience in designing and supporting ETL processes in complex data environments.
• More than 2 years of professional experience in developing solutions with Python.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database systems such as MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar platforms.
• Experience in designing and maintaining logical and physical data models.
• Knowledge of data transformation, mapping, and integration processes.
• Familiarity with ETL tools like Talend Data Integration or equivalent technologies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Preferred: experience in developing Python-based data pipelines and automation solutions.
• Preferred: experience with Snowflake and AWS environments.
• Preferred: expertise in dimensional modeling, star schemas, and data warehouse architecture.
• Preferred: experience with Revenue Cycle Management, EDI, X12, or patient accounting systems.
• Preferred: knowledge of claims and billing processes within healthcare settings.
• Preferred: familiarity with modern data architecture and cloud-based analytics platforms.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire.
