Data Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, debug, and document programs and scripts following established standards and tools.

• Ensure data integrity and implement tools and frameworks to automate the identification of data quality issues.

• Analyze data sources and create ETL processes utilizing SQL, Python, and ETL/ELT support tools.

• Support management in preparing estimates and proposals for clients.

• Strategize solutions for data storage, security, sharing, and publishing within the organization.

• Create and maintain process flow documentation and business rules.

• Manage existing pipelines and handle large data volumes as necessary.

• Design, develop, and sustain enterprise data platforms that facilitate insights from customer data.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.

• 3–5 years of experience in Data Engineering and/or Data Warehousing.

• Proven experience in designing and developing ETL/ELT data pipelines.

• Expertise in crafting advanced SQL queries.

• Proficient in Python and various Python libraries.

• Strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to interpret and convey the significance of presented data.

• Excellent mathematical, statistical, and logical reasoning skills.

• Strong problem-solving abilities.

• Highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with the capacity to learn swiftly.

• Experience in creating ETL workflows in Databricks.

• Familiarity with Apache Spark.

• Full professional proficiency in English is mandatory.

• Capable of making calls, participating in video conferences, sending emails and messages, and communicating effectively with dealerships and colleagues.
