This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Design, develop, and maintain corporate data platforms that facilitate insights from customer data.
• Utilize expertise in SQL and Python to carry out projects and tasks with exceptional quality, accuracy, and adherence to deadlines.
• Create, code, test, debug, and document programs and scripts using agreed-upon standards and tools, ensuring deliverables are well-structured.
• Guarantee data quality and implement tools and frameworks for the automated detection of data quality issues.
• Profile data sources and develop ETL processes, demonstrating a solid grasp of data modeling fundamentals, using SQL, Python, and ETL/ELT support tools.
• Assist management in preparing estimates and proposals for clients.
• Strategize effective solutions for data storage, security, sharing, and publishing across the organization.
• Create and update documentation for process flows and business rules.
• Maintain existing data pipelines and process large volumes of data as necessary.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Data Engineering and/or Data Warehousing.
• Experience in designing and developing ETL/ELT data pipelines.
• Proficient in writing advanced SQL queries.
• Skilled in Python and familiar with common Python libraries.
• Strong analytical abilities with the capacity to interpret and convey the significance of presented data.
• Excellent mathematical, statistical, and logical reasoning skills.
• Outstanding reasoning capabilities.
• An enthusiastic, highly motivated individual with a quick learning aptitude.
• Experience in creating ETL workflows in Databricks.
• Understanding of Apache Spark.
• 3–5 years of experience in automotive operations or similar dynamic environments.
• Previous experience serving external clients.
• Familiarity with MS SQL Server administration.
• Experience with Git repositories.
• Experience working with FTP and APIs.
• Strong communication skills and practical knowledge of agile methodologies, including DevOps concepts.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
• Remote and/or office work options.
