This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• Lead the technical governance of data in Snowflake, encompassing cataloging, tagging, classification of sensitive data, masking, and RBAC.
• Design and maintain data quality controls using dbt and Snowflake's native capabilities.
• Develop and optimize data models and transformations in Snowflake and dbt.
• Ensure performance, cost-effectiveness, and maintainability.
• Guarantee technical lineage and traceability of data from sources to reporting KPIs.
• Participate in the migration of governance and quality from Informatica IDMC to Snowflake and dbt.
• Operate under DataOps practices with Git, code reviews, deployments, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate long-term within the Cívica team and engage in digital transformation projects for large organizations.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Experience in modeling and developing data solutions in analytical environments.
• Proficient in working with Git and adhering to development best practices.
• Solid and practical experience developing on Snowflake; essential.
• Proven experience in developing and maintaining models, transformations, and dependencies with dbt; essential.
• Experience with documentation as code and tests/rules of quality in dbt.
• Advanced SQL skills for developing and optimizing complex queries and transformations.
• Experience with Snowflake Horizon, cataloging, tagging, classification of sensitive data, masking, or RBAC will be valued.
• Experience in migrations to Snowflake from IDMC will also be valued.
