This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete lifecycle of data engineering projects, starting from initial requirement collection with stakeholders to production deployment and ongoing monitoring.

• Create, develop, and sustain intricate data transformations, ensuring superior data quality and performance utilizing scripting languages such as Python, Airflow, DBT, and databases like Snowflake or comparable Data Lakes.

• Construct, expand, and manage automated workflows using Apache Airflow to handle complex data dependencies.

• Uphold high engineering standards through the implementation of CI/CD and stringent version control practices using GitHub.

• Establish automated procedures for data validation, guaranteeing high standards of data quality, accuracy, and integrity throughout all pipelines.

• Serve as a technical collaborator with the Analytics, Sales, and Marketing teams, developing curated datasets that support strategic decision-making.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in designing and developing complex automation frameworks, queries, and data modeling using SQL, Python, DBT, and Apache Airflow.

• Extensive experience with scripting languages like Python and cloud databases such as Snowflake and Redshift, facilitating swift ingestion and distribution of essential data.

• Expertise in the Marketing Data Domain: Practical experience with Marketing datasets, including campaign performance data, lead and funnel stages, and revenue attribution models.

• Proficiency in architecting scalable DBT projects employing advanced modeling techniques, custom macros, intricate Jinja-templated logic, and modular project structures to enforce DRY (Don't Repeat Yourself) principles across the organization.

• Advanced knowledge of the DBT lifecycle, including CI/CD processes such as Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD, in addition to source control tools like GitHub.

• Proven ability to identify and resolve data management issues, enhancing data quality, and cleaning, preparing, and optimizing data for ingestion and consumption.

• Demonstrated experience in integrating and managing business data from enterprise applications into Semantic Layers to separate complex logic from the BI layer, driving analytics and insights.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related IT field; or equivalent experience.
