This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.
• Design, develop, and sustain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Integrate data from both internal and external systems, including CRMs, LMS, marketing platforms, databases, etc.
• Create and manage API integrations (REST/JSON, OAuth, etc.).
• Automate repetitive data processes utilizing Python (or similar scripting languages).
• Design and uphold data models that are optimized for analytics and operational reporting.
• Collaborate with cloud data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake) to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Implement data validation and monitoring systems to guarantee accuracy and reliability.
• Actively monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline failures.
• Develop dashboards and data applications using low-code/no-code platforms (e.g., Power BI, Retool, Coda, Tableau, Google Sheets).
• Convert complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for business stakeholders.
• Work closely with analysts, data scientists, and business teams to establish KPIs and reporting requirements.
• Propose enhancements to current data flows and business processes.
• Maintain organized and detailed technical documentation (pipelines, integrations, data definitions, architecture).
• Engage in cross-functional discussions to ensure technical implementations align with business needs.
• Strong expertise in Python (or a similar scripting language) for data manipulation and automation.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and experience in data modeling.
• Practical experience with API integrations (REST, JSON, OAuth) and related tools (e.g., Postman).
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS) and cloud data warehouses.
• Familiarity with orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt, or similar frameworks).
• Knowledge of Git and CI/CD processes.
• Experience with low-code/no-code platforms for data visualization or workflow automation.
• Strong understanding of business processes and KPI-driven decision-making.
• 1–4 years of experience in a data engineering or data-focused position.
• Experience in developing and customizing internal tools using Retool, with a working knowledge of JavaScript.
• Proficiency in optimizing query performance and cost efficiency in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with real-time data streaming solutions.
• Background in supporting AI/ML data pipelines.
• Excellent data storytelling and stakeholder communication abilities.
