Data Engineer – GCP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Design and illustrate the architecture of the data platform on GCP.

• Define the foundational architecture for information ingestion from various sources.

• Create and implement scalable and maintainable data pipelines.

• Participate in the selection and configuration of the most suitable GCP services.

• Work on data processing, storage, and exploitation.

• Apply best practices in security, performance, monitoring, and cost control.

• Collaborate with architects, analysts, and other data engineers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong experience as a Data Engineer in GCP environments.

• Ability to design and document end-to-end data architectures.

• Experience with services such as: BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer, Dataproc, Cloud Functions, or Cloud Run.

• Knowledge of Python and SQL.

• Experience in batch ingestion processes and, if possible, real-time ingestion.

• Understanding of data modeling, transformation, and quality.

• Familiarity with CI/CD and infrastructure as code.

• Experience or knowledge in FinOps on GCP is a plus.

• GCP certifications are desirable.
