Data Engineer, ETL, AWS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines (ETL/ELT).

• Integrate data from various sources (REST APIs, PMS, CSV files, among others).

• Develop and manage the staging layer (raw data) using SQL.

• Transform, clean, and model data into a structured layer (data mart / clean model).

• Optimize queries and performance in databases.

• Work with Redshift or other data warehouses on AWS.

• Collaborate with the BI team to ensure data consistency, reliability, and usability.

• Identify improvement opportunities in data architecture.

• Ensure data quality, integrity, and reliability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in designing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.

• Strong SQL skills (essential).

• Experience with databases such as SQL Server, Redshift, or others.

• Experience consuming REST APIs for data ingestion.

• Proficiency in Python for data processing.

• Experience working in AWS, particularly in data environments.
