Data Engineer – Coding Agent Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Utilize cutting-edge AI coding agents to execute and assess intricate data engineering assignments.

• Review implementations generated by models concerning ETL pipelines, data warehouses, analytics platforms, and distributed data systems.

• Detect bugs, edge cases, scalability challenges, and potential points of failure.

• Analyze outputs from various frontier models and evaluate their strengths and weaknesses.

• Employ professional engineering judgment in realistic data engineering contexts.

• Engage in sprint-based projects lasting 12 to 24 hours according to client needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 2 years of professional experience in data engineering.

• Proficient in constructing ETL pipelines, data warehouses, analytics platforms, or distributed data systems.

• Regularly utilize AI coding agents such as Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, Windsurf, Gemini CLI, or comparable tools.

• Capable of assessing model-generated data infrastructure and pipeline solutions.

• Experience with large-scale data platforms is preferred.

• Must work as an independent contractor.
