Data Engineer, CL, CO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Chile.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines (ETL/ELT) using Python and SQL, under the Medallion Architecture, ensuring the transformation, cleansing, and structuring of data within Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Create related data models and optimize SQL queries to ensure efficient, scalable, and high-performance processing, maximizing infrastructure utilization.

• Develop and maintain dashboards and indicators in Looker Studio and Grafana, facilitating the visualization of key metrics for Product, Business, and Analysis teams.

• Implement governance practices, data security, and automation through DevOps tools, ensuring compliance with information security standards and promoting the use of APIs and prompt engineering to optimize processes.

• Advanced proficiency in SQL.

• Experience with components and services of Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Knowledge of DevOps practices.

• Familiarity with Prompt Engineering.

• Understanding of Medallion Architecture.

• Experience in Data Governance and Compliance.

• Proficiency in Python.

• Experience in optimizing SQL queries.

• Experience working with APIs and services.

• Familiarity with Looker Studio for data analysis and visualization.

• Experience with Grafana (desirable).
