Data Engineer – BI Platform Owner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Finland.

📋 Description

• Oversee the transition from the external implementation partner.

• Serve as the leading internal authority and take ownership of the Microsoft Fabric BI platform.

• Ensure the platform is reliable, secure, scalable, and thoroughly documented.

• Manage and enhance Fabric Data Factory pipelines and data ingestion strategies.

• Develop and sustain PySpark / Spark SQL notebooks.

• Execute validation, reconciliation, and anomaly detection processes.

• Create and maintain Semantic Models (measures, relationships, RLS, Direct Lake).

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Data Engineer, Analytics Engineer, or BI Engineer.

• Established capability to manage and operate a data or BI platform.

• Practical knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, or significant experience with Power BI, Azure Data Factory, Spark/Delta Lake.

• Strong skills in SQL and data modeling.

• Proven commitment to data quality, accuracy, and analytical integrity.
