Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kenya.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, and uphold Big Query DataMart's and analytical tables for business intelligence reporting.

• Create scalable data models (such as star schema, snowflake, or denormalized) that are optimized for analytics workloads.

• Develop and sustain data pipelines for the ingestion, transformation, and loading of data into analytical environments.

• Execute governance practices, including schema management and version control.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in Data Engineering or Analytics Engineering.

• Strong proficiency in SQL for analytical workloads.

• Experience with cloud data warehouses (including Big Query, Redshift, Snowflake, or similar platforms).

• Demonstrated experience in designing star schema or dimensional data models.

• Experience in building analytics-ready DataMart's.
