This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the primary contact for clients, delivering direct assistance on environmental data management and sustainability strategies.
• Analyze environmental performance data including energy, water, greenhouse gas emissions, and waste.
• Offer strategic advice on sustainability initiatives and reporting frameworks.
• Assist clients in complying with local, state, and national benchmarking requirements and environmental regulations.
• Oversee and coordinate various vendors, such as ESG platform providers, utility bill payment services, and other third-party consultants engaged by the client.
• Participate in green building certification projects, including LEED, ENERGY STAR Certifications, and other third-party rating systems as necessary.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Engineering Technology, Energy Management, or a related field.
• A strong enthusiasm for sustainability and green building practices.
• Familiarity with the ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager.
• A self-driven individual with a robust work ethic and problem-solving capabilities.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Detail-oriented approach.
• Strong skills in project and personnel management.
• LEED Green Associate or LEED Accredited Professional – EBOM certification.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) designation.
• Certified Energy Manager or Certified Energy Auditor credentials.
• Experience with sustainability reporting initiatives like GRESB, CDP, UNPRI, etc.
• Exposure to net zero initiatives and various frameworks.
• Knowledge of green building certifications such as LEED, Fitwel, WELL, and IREM.
