This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Assist in the maintenance of production systems and aid in addressing issues that arise during live sporting events.
• Design low-latency, real-time analytics systems, encompassing raw data collection, feature creation, and endpoint deployment.
• Develop innovative sports betting data products and predictive offerings.
• Incorporate large and intricate real-time datasets into new consumer and enterprise solutions.
• Create production-level predictive analytics integrated into enterprise-grade APIs.
• Participate in the design and execution of new, fully-automated frameworks for sports data delivery.
• A BS/BA degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related STEM discipline.
• At least 4+ years of proven experience in writing production-level code, specifically in Python.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, preferably MySQL.
• Proven experience with Apache Airflow.
• Demonstrated familiarity with Kubernetes.
• Experience in building comprehensive end-to-end ETL pipelines.
• Knowledge in utilizing REST APIs.
• Familiarity with version control systems (git), continuous integration and deployment, shell scripting, and cloud computing infrastructures (AWS).
• Experience with web scraping and the processing of unstructured data.
• Understanding of data science and machine learning principles.
• Professional experience working with MLB or NBA data.
