This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.
• Engage in full-stack development where you can create the most significant impact: from ETL pipelines to data warehousing, visualizations, testing, and cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with your team to design and implement features and services for the data analytics solution, ensuring that design choices are thoroughly documented and articulated.
• Provide training and mentorship to other Data Engineers on best practices in data engineering.
• Leverage your expertise to enhance predictive data quality.
• Advocate for a DataOps culture, supporting data systems in production and participating in our out-of-hours on-call rotation.
• Interact with customers to explore new use cases or assist them in identifying and resolving data issues, managing the complete setup process: from raw data analysis to defining and implementing data ingestion/enrichment pipelines, and creating data visualizations.
• Strong understanding of data pipeline design and implementation using Databricks and Python (or Python derivatives such as PySpark).
• Proficient visualization skills with Sisense and/or other visualization tools.
• Solid experience with SQL.
• Good knowledge of data management and/or data governance (ensuring data meets expected volume, schema, etc.).
• Preferred: Familiarity with microservices architecture principles.
• Experience with Kedro on Databricks.
• Exposure to AWS or other cloud service providers.
• Familiarity with Airbyte handling multiple data sources.
