This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

• Catalog and document all current Talend jobs, transformation logic, and reconciliation rules.

• Utilize the Datafold Migration Agent for supported automated bulk migrations.

• Manually convert ETL jobs that cannot be automated and ensure the accuracy of each conversion.

• Collaborate with AI tools to expedite the conversion process — reviewing, correcting, and validating AI-generated outputs.

• Develop DBT models and Snowpark functions to replace outdated Talend jobs.

• Establish automated data validation that highlights quality and completeness issues through a Streamlit UI dashboard.

• Create a diagnostic tool to assess the overall health of the software stack and data connectivity from end to end.

• Record all ETL logic modifications throughout the migration process.

• Keep data lineage documentation current for the entire pipeline.

• Over 4 years of experience in data engineering with practical ETL development and migration expertise.

• Strong understanding of dbt and SQL-based transformation methodologies.

• Experience with Snowflake as a primary data platform.

• Knowledge of Snowpark (Python or Java) for custom transformation logic.

• Previous experience with Talend or comparable legacy ETL tools (such as SSIS, Informatica, etc.).

• Familiarity with Datafold or similar data difference/migration validation tools.

• Experience in building data quality monitoring or observability frameworks.

• Comfort with AI coding tools and the ability to review and validate AI-generated code.
