Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance scalable data pipelines and data architecture.

• Develop cloud-native data solutions utilizing Azure, Databricks (Unity Catalog & Delta Lake), and other big data technologies.

• Create and sustain DBT models while comprehending data domains such as finance, e-commerce, pharmaceuticals, and supply chain.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and analysts to provide data-driven solutions.

• Implement CI/CD practices and consistently enhance performance, scalability, and security.

• Foster a robust data culture through ongoing learning and knowledge sharing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in data engineering and data management.

• Practical experience with Azure or other public cloud platforms, focusing on building and maintaining scalable data pipelines while ensuring high data quality.

• Strong proficiency in DBT and SQL for data modeling and analysis.

• Significant experience with Databricks (Spark, Unity Catalog).

• Proficient in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Scala, or Java).

• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices is advantageous.

• Familiarity with business domains, preferably with an e-commerce background.

• Driven to work in an innovative environment and enhance cloud-native and distributed systems continuously.
