This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

• Create, develop, and sustain scalable data pipelines for data ingestion, processing, and transformation.

• Integrate data from various source systems (e.g., ERP, MES, engineering systems).

• Guarantee data quality, consistency, and reliability across the data platform.

• Implement and enhance data storage and processing solutions.

• Collaborate with Data Architects to ensure alignment with target architecture and standards.

• Assist Data Scientists and business teams by delivering well-organized and accessible data.

• Monitor and resolve issues in data pipelines and workflows.

• Contribute to the creation of a modern, cloud-based data platform.

• Apply software engineering best practices in data development.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Several years of experience in data engineering or software engineering.

• Proficient programming skills (e.g., Python, SQL).

• Experience with data integration and pipeline development.

• Knowledge of modern data architectures (data warehouse, data lake, lakehouse).

• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure) is advantageous.

• Understanding of data quality and monitoring principles.

• Experience with version control and CI/CD practices.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Capability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
