Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Develop and manage the data infrastructure that facilitates analytics and AI throughout the organization.

• Create, implement, and uphold scalable data pipelines.

• Ensure reliable integration and accessibility of data from multiple source systems.

• Work in collaboration with Data Architects, Data Scientists, and various business stakeholders.

• Convert raw data into high-quality, actionable data products that aid in business decision-making.

• Oversee and resolve issues related to data pipelines and workflows.

• Contribute to the establishment of a modern, cloud-based data platform.

• Utilize software engineering best practices in data development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Multiple years of experience in data engineering or software engineering.

• Proficient programming skills (e.g., Python, SQL).

• Experience in data integration and pipeline development.

• Knowledge of contemporary data architectures (data warehouse, data lake, lakehouse).

• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure) is advantageous.

• Understanding of data quality and monitoring principles.

• Experience with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.

• Capability to collaborate within cross-functional teams.
