This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Chile.

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable data infrastructures tailored for cloud environments.

• Manage and optimize data ingestion processes into the data lake, ensuring the quality, integrity, and availability of information.

• Develop real-time data processing pipelines using AWS Kinesis and AWS Lambda.

• Build and manage data orchestration workflows through AWS Step Functions and AWS Glue.

• Design and maintain data storage and querying solutions with AWS Redshift and AWS Athena, ensuring performance and efficiency.

• Collaborate with Analytics, Data Science, and Engineering teams to translate business needs into robust and well-documented data solutions.

• Participate in ceremonies and processes of teams utilizing agile methodologies, contributing to continuous improvement.

• 3 years of experience in data engineering, with involvement in designing and implementing data infrastructure in production environments.

• Proficiency in Python, including Pandas and PySpark.

• Hands-on experience with AWS Glue, AWS Step Functions, AWS Kinesis, AWS Lambda, AWS Athena, and AWS Redshift.

• Strong knowledge of batch and streaming data ingestion.

• Experience with data lake or lakehouse architectures.

• Familiarity with Scrum or Kanban methodologies applied to data projects.

• Ability to document technical solutions and define data quality standards.

• Capacity to work in collaborative and remote environments.

• Availability for a project lasting at least 4 months.
