This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and sustain data marts, materialized views, and data pipelines within an AWS-hosted Data Lake setting.
• Create, construct, and enhance data workflows and pipelines to facilitate agency-wide analytics and reporting.
• Oversee the health of the data infrastructure, addressing performance bottlenecks and data quality challenges.
• Work in partnership with engineering, product, and agency stakeholders to expand and support new data-driven projects.
• Ensure compliance with federal data security standards, including FISMA and NIST 800-53.
• Undertake additional related responsibilities as needed.
• Extensive knowledge of SQL and experience with large-scale data infrastructure (AWS).
• Proven experience in building and maintaining data marts, materialized views, or ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Familiarity with AWS data services and cloud-based data infrastructure.
• Experience in managing and migrating relational database environments (PostgreSQL).
• Proficient in handling both structured and unstructured data.
• Understanding of data security and governance regulations in federal contexts.
• Ability to excel in a remote, collaborative Agile environment while working closely with a cross-functional team.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to document data architectures and collaborate on integration design.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Some positions may require U.S. citizenship and the capability to obtain and maintain a federal background investigation and/or security clearance.
