This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +1 more country.
• Develop robust data infrastructure to support the onboarding and implementation of customers.
• Create and deploy tools powered by Claude to automate the triage of production incidents and propose fixes.
• Build automation tools for the configuration and ingestion of new customer data sets.
• Define, prototype, and execute comprehensive data solutions for intricate data challenges.
• Provide guidance to internal teams and customers on best practices for data integration, architecture, and management.
• Construct scalable ingestion pipelines utilizing AWS tools and services.
• Establish integrations with Veeva, Salesforce, and other external data sources.
• Participate in the development of proof-of-concept projects and internal applications.
• Design APIs and data models for internal data access and interoperability across systems.
• Investigate and integrate new data sources.
• Develop warehouse schemas to enhance analytics and product capabilities.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure data systems align with strategic goals.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in data engineering and production-quality data pipelines.
• Extensive experience with AWS tools, including ECS, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, and API Gateway.
• Proficiency in using Snowflake.
• Familiarity with Dagster or Airflow for orchestration and workflow management.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Experience in constructing and optimizing complex data models using dbt.
• Comprehensive understanding of ETL processes.
• Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, and database design principles.
• Expertise in developing performant SQL schemas and queries.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and test-driven development within a production setting.
• Experience in integrating CRM systems like Veeva and Salesforce.
• Background in handling healthcare, pharmaceutical, or pharmacy-related datasets is highly advantageous.
• Proven experience with the AWS stack or a comparable cloud platform.
• History of modernizing data environments and transitioning legacy systems to cloud-native architectures.
• Ability to manage projects autonomously, prioritize tasks effectively, and adapt to evolving business requirements.
• Exceptional communication skills for conveying intricate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
