This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Collaborate closely with Medisolv clients to extract, transform, and load clinical, financial, administrative healthcare data, and health plan information.
• Aid in loading and troubleshooting data issues from EHR vendor products, including but not limited to Epic, Meditech, Cerner, and EClinicalWorks.
• Support CMS quality measures (HEDIS/Stars) and facilitate downstream AI workflows.
• Work in conjunction with the data management team, becoming familiar with workflows and tools in Azure and AWS environments such as Snowflake, Databricks, Data Factory, Glue, Lambda, and SQL Server.
• Review current data pipelines, data models, and transformation scripts to assist in troubleshooting.
• Investigate technical and data-related issues that may impact measure results and mapping, including SNOMED, ICD-10, and RXNORM.
• Utilize SQL querying skills to analyze data anomalies within Databricks and Snowflake environments.
• Troubleshoot data pipelines to support internal operations and client deliverables.
• Conduct data analysis to uncover trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and enhance data quality and reporting outputs.
• Design and deliver dashboards, reports, and visualizations that support business and client decision-making.
• Monitor data quality, resolve issues, and promote improvements in data integrity and consistency.
• Partner with stakeholders to convert data into actionable insights aligned with business objectives.
• Lead enhancements to data architecture, reporting capabilities, and data processes.
• Support advanced analytics projects, including predictive insights and AI-driven solutions.
• Document processes and establish best practices to ensure scalability, reliability, and consistency as the organization expands.
• 4–7+ years of experience in data engineering, data analysis, or a hybrid role.
• Strong expertise in SQL and experience working with large, complex datasets.
• Hands-on experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud compute platforms, utilizing tools such as Snowflake, Databricks, Data Factory, Glue, Azure Functions, and Lambda.
• Experience in building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines and data models.
• Capability to analyze data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Proficiency in mapping payer data and understanding core health plan files.
• Familiarity with CMS & HEDIS Logic.
• Experience in creating dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI or similar.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, focusing on data accuracy and quality.
• Ability to work collaboratively across functions and communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience in healthcare data, including knowledge of clinical or regulatory data, is a plus.
