This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia, +1 more state.
• Oversee the complete data migration process from legacy systems to cloud platforms, which encompasses data mapping, transformation, and validation (Salesforce-focused).
• Evaluate and transform unstructured, document-heavy data into structured formats that are ready for analysis using Document AI.
• Establish data quality protocols (cleansing, deduplication, reconciliation) to guarantee accuracy and completeness after migration.
• Facilitate phased migration and system transition with minimal impact on operations.
• Design, develop, and sustain MuleSoft integrations, including API development for both real-time and batch data exchanges.
• Implement data transformation logic (e.g., DataWeave) and resolve integration/data flow challenges across systems.
• Contribute to the implementation of Salesforce Data 360, focusing on data harmonization, identity resolution, and unified profiles.
• Ensure appropriate data ingestion, lineage, metadata management, and traceability throughout the ecosystem.
• Adhere to data governance, privacy, and security standards (e.g., PII).
• Collaborate within Agile teams; assist with testing, documentation, and audit readiness for migration and integration initiatives.
• U.S. Citizenship is required due to federal contract stipulations.
• Capability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• The candidate must have resided in the U.S. for three (3) full years out of the last five (5) years.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in data engineering, data migration, or data integration positions.
• Demonstrated experience in conducting large-scale data migration projects, including the transformation of legacy systems.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce data migrations, covering data modeling, data loading (e.g., Data Loader, APIs), and managing relational datasets.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in implementing data quality, validation, and reconciliation processes during migration activities.
• Current or recent Public Trust or active Secret clearance is preferred.
• Experience supporting DHS or other federal agencies is preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience using Informatica (e.g., PowerCenter, IICS) for ETL/ELT development, data mapping, and pipeline orchestration is preferred.
• Over 2 years of proficiency in SQL and relational data modeling concepts is preferred.
• Familiarity with cloud-based SaaS platforms and distributed data architectures is preferred.
• Understanding of metadata management, data lineage, and audit frameworks is preferred.
• Experience working in federal or highly regulated environments is preferred.
• Experience assisting Agile delivery teams and fostering cross-functional collaboration is preferred.
• Experience in supporting large-scale, document-centric system migrations is preferred.
• Familiarity with Docusign eSignature and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) products is a plus and preferred.
• Experience with Salesforce Data 360 (Data Cloud), particularly in data harmonization and identity resolution, is preferred.
• Experience with Salesforce Document AI / Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) tools for extracting structured data from documents is preferred.
• Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance requirements, especially for sensitive data (e.g., PII), is preferred.
