This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

• Design and scale effective ETL/ELT pipelines to consolidate various data sources into a cohesive, high-availability environment.

• Create and sustain high-performance APIs utilizing FastAPI to provide data insights to internal services and stakeholders.

• Oversee data transformations using DBT, ensuring our data warehouse is well-structured, modular, and prepared for advanced analysis.

• Enhance data structures and schemas to guarantee rapid query performance for both analytical and operational scenarios.

• Automate processes for data validation and cleansing to uphold the highest standards of data integrity and security.

• Foster technical innovation by adopting modern frameworks that improve our processing capabilities and data reliability.

• Demonstrated success in Data Engineering or a comparable back-end focused role within fast-paced environments.

• Advanced skills in Python, particularly in building and deploying APIs with FastAPI.

• In-depth knowledge of DBT, emphasizing the creation of scalable and maintainable transformation layers.

• Strong command of SQL for developing complex data applications and handling large datasets.

• Comprehensive understanding of contemporary data modeling and cloud-based warehousing architecture (preferably GCP and BigQuery).
