Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Lead the design, development, and optimization of enterprise-scale data pipelines.

• Build and maintain robust ETL processes.

• Ensure high data availability.

• Support advanced analytics and business intelligence needs.

• Collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, product managers, engineering managers, TPMs, and architects.

• Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Guide junior engineers, drive technical innovation, and influence the enterprise data strategy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or 8–10 years of relevant professional experience in programming languages.

• 8–10 years of experience in data engineering or related fields.

• Proficiency in relevant programming languages for data processing (e.g., Python, Java, Scala, SQL).

• Experience in building scalable ETL pipelines and data architectures.

• Familiarity with cloud environments and modern data platforms.

• Leadership experience with junior team members or acting as a technical lead.

• Expert level in systems integration and technologies.

• Expert level in cloud computing architecture.

• Expert level in data architecture.

• Competent level in information security architecture.

• Competent level in enterprise IT architecture.
