This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Design, develop, and manage contemporary, end-to-end, cloud-native data warehouses.
• Create and uphold resilient ELT/ETL pipelines that integrate various internal systems (servicing, origination, CRM) along with third-party data sources.
• Construct scalable data models for reporting, BI (semantic layer), and future AI/ML projects.
• Enforce data quality, governance, and security measures in compliance with strict U.S. financial regulations.
• Collaborate closely with C-suite executives and directors in the U.S. to convert business needs into technical data architecture.
• Enhance the performance of queries, pipelines, and workflows to ensure efficiency and manage costs.
• 4 to 7 years of demonstrable experience in building end-to-end cloud data warehouses.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Fabric (highly preferred) OR adaptable stacks (BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks).
• Experience with cloud infrastructure: Azure data stack (Data Factory, Synapse, Fabric) or its equivalents on AWS/GCP.
• Core skills in advanced SQL (dimensional modeling, performance tuning) and Python (for transformation, orchestration, scripting).
• Familiarity with BI tools: Power BI or similar (Looker, Tableau, Mode).
• Knowledge of orchestration and transformation tools: Azure Data Factory, Airflow, dbt, Dagster, or comparable solutions.
• Valid US Visa (minimum B1/B2): Confirmed ability to travel to the U.S. quarterly.
• Direct interaction with stakeholders: Proven experience working directly with executives in the U.S.
