Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the sourcing, transformation, and analysis of data, as well as in developing ETL logic to facilitate both current and future deployments.

• Support the sourcing, transformation, and analysis processes by collaborating with senior team members on the development, maintenance, and deployment of data pipelines and ETL logic.

• Aid in the sourcing, transformation, and analysis of data under the mentorship of senior team members.

• Contribute to the creation of ETL logic and pipelines for both existing and forthcoming deployments.

• Help develop and maintain data pipelines that support a medallion architecture as part of the organization's data modernization efforts.

• Engage in technical data management tasks, including creating, loading, transforming, cleansing, processing, analyzing, and visualizing data.

• Collaborate with colleagues and business partners to develop technical solutions that are reusable, scalable, and maintainable across extensive datasets.

• Cultivate and retain a working knowledge of data reporting, management, and transformation technologies.

• Proactively learn new and existing tools, resources, and processes.

• Assist in implementing data architecture and solutions.

• Write and deliver code under supervision to support both current and future deployments.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in technology, engineering, a math-related field, or a comparable discipline is required, with 0 years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• 0-2 years of experience in working with data structures or in a related technical position.

• Basic knowledge of algorithm design.

• Some familiarity with SQL Server, IDMC, Informatica PowerCenter, Snowflake, and/or Control-M.

• Experience in writing basic SQL queries and interpreting simple data models is preferred.

• Familiarity with database modeling concepts is preferred.

• Previous internship or academic project experience in a data-related field is preferred.
