This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

• Ensure uniformity in architectural and technical choices.

• Oversee and provide support to the Data Engineering team.

• Assist with project initiation, development cycles, and planning.

• Develop and manage Jira cards as well as related documentation.

• Perform code evaluations and engage in pair programming.

• Confirm the Definition of Done.

• Manage project streams, facilitate communication, and handle issue resolution.

• Over 5 years of experience in the field of data engineering.

• Advanced skills in Python and Scala programming.

• Significant hands-on experience with data streaming technologies (Flink or Spark Structured Streaming).

• Proficient in using Apache Kafka.

• Demonstrated experience in building and managing data batch frameworks (Apache Spark).

• Familiarity with workflow orchestrators (ArgoWF or Apache Airflow).

• Strong background in Cloud Infrastructure (AWS).

• High proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and version control using Git.

• Exceptional problem-solving capabilities with complex distributed systems.

• Advanced English language skills are required.
