Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Manage, diagnose, and enhance a data ingestion pipeline developed using Java and Python.

• Introduce new features and enhancements to ensure our systems remain efficient and scalable.

• Produce clean, testable, and well-documented code.

• Engage in code reviews and contribute ideas that elevate our engineering standards.

• Maintain a curious mindset and keep abreast of emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience of over 4 years as a Data Engineer.

• High proficiency in both Java and Python.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• A collaborative spirit and proactive approach.

• Excellent English communication skills (B2/C1 level). You will frequently engage in one-on-one conversations with native speakers.

• Experience with Apache Beam or Apache Spark.

• Understanding of observability tools (logging, metrics, tracing).

• Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
